Literacy Strategy
Great focus is placed on reading, presentation of written work, handwriting and subject related vocabulary and spelling. Below you will find reading lists by year group. The number of books is deliberately large. Each list offers many choices for both stronger and weaker readers and it includes a range of authors and titles across a variety of reading genres. Not all books will be in the school library. It should be stressed that these reading lists contain only suggestions. Pupils who wish to choose other books may do so.
