Fees & Payment Options

Unlike many schools, our fees are inclusive of the full range of activities throughout the school day including all meals and drinks, curriculum trips, teaching materials and the extensive activities programme.  There are no compulsory extras although certain items of stationery will be added to your bill.

In the Pre-Prep, there are some wonderful post-school activities (eg, ballet, tennis, squash) and a wrap-around, late pick-up care provision called Biscuit Club.  These are available at an additional cost.

Fees per term from September 2012:
Class Termly Fees for Day Pupils
Reception and Years 1 & 2 £2732
Year 3 £3496
Year 4 £4196
Year 5 £4469
Years 6, 7 & 8 £4857

There are three terms a year.  Fees are inclusive of all activities, meals and drinks.  There are no compulsory extras.

A term's notice in writing is required before the removal of a child; otherwise a term's fees may be charged in lieu.

Reduced fees are charged by the school for a third child, and subsequent children, while they are attending Holmwood House at the same time (please request further details).

Boarding
Full: Pupils in Years 6, 7 & 8 can weekly board (Monday to Saturday).  This attracts an additional fee of £1530 per term.
Flexi
: Pupils in Years 5, 6, 7 & 8 can flexi-board at the rate of between £28.50 and £35 per night depending on the number of nights per week, booked in advance.

Payment
Fees are payable termly in advance either by direct debit or by cheque on the first day of term.  Payment by visa or monthly instalments is at the discretion of the school.  Payment by visa incurs a 2% surcharge.

Delays in the payment of fees are punitive to the majority who pay promptly and interest at 2% per month or part thereof will be levied on all unpaid balances.

The school reserves the right to exclude a pupil until such time as the fees have been paid.

Dyslexia Unit
Individual tuition in this unit incurs an extra termly charge of £177 for one lesson per week to a maximum of £885 per term.  Parents will be consulted before extra tuition is provided.

Music Tuition
Individual  music tuition is provided by the visiting music teachers (peripatetics), who are self-employed and invoice separately for their services.  If an instrument is hired from the school, a charge of £40 per term will be made.
