Fees & Payment Options
Unlike many schools, our fees are inclusive of the full range of activities throughout the school day including all meals and drinks, curriculum trips, teaching materials and the extensive activities programme. There are no compulsory extras although certain items of stationery will be added to your bill.
In the Pre-Prep, there are some wonderful post-school activities (eg, ballet, tennis, squash) and a wraparound, late pick-up care provision called Biscuit Club. These are available at an additional cost.
|Fees per term from September 2018:|
|Class||Termly Fees for Day Pupils|
|Reception and Years 1 & 2||£3380|
|Years 6, 7 & 8||£5965|
There are three terms a year. Day fees are inclusive of all activities, meals and drinks. There are no compulsory extras.
A term's notice in writing is required before the removal of a child; otherwise a term's fees may be charged in lieu.
Reduced fees are charged for a third child and subsequent children, while they are attending Holmwood House at the same time (please request further details).
Full: Pupils in Years 6, 7 & 8 can weekly board (Monday to Friday).
Flexi: Pupils in Years 5, 6, 7 & 8 can flexi-board, booked in advance.
£35 per night
The boarding prices include dinner, bed & breakfast, supervised activities and laundry for those boarding on particular nights. (e.g. those boarding on a Tuesday night will have their kit washed for matches the following day.) Please note that 48 hours' notice is required if cancelling a boarding night, otherwise you will be charged for that night.
Fees are payable termly in advance on the first day of term. Payment may be made by cheque, Direct Debit, Credit Card, electronic transfer/internet banking. Payment by monthly instalments is at the discretion of the school. Payment by Credit Card may attract a 2% transaction surcharge which would be notified prior to payment.
Delays in the payment of fees are punitive to the majority who pay promptly and interest at 2% per month or part thereof will be levied on all unpaid balances.
The school reserves the right to exclude a pupil until such time as the fees have been paid.
Individual learning support tuition incurs an extra termly charge of £215 for one lesson per week. Parents will always be consulted before extra tuition is provided.
Individual music tuition is provided by the peripatetic music teachers who are self-employed and invoice separately for their services. If an instrument is hired from the school, a charge of £40 per term will be made.
