Girls' Hockey U11C Tournament at Orwell Park

The girls got off to a positive start in the first two matches, holding both oppositions to a goalless draw, even the eventual tournament winners, Orwell Park.

As the matches progressed we became more confident and this was reflected in the play.  Our passing became more accurate and we were finding space much easier enabling us to move the ball more proficiently down the pitch.

In the last two matches of the tournament we continued to work hard and fight for every ball, but the opposition, Littlegarth and Brandeston, outplayed us.  Despite many shots on goal we could not get the ball over the line but our opponents had luck on their side and were both able to score, despite the hard work from Maia A in goal.

There were many positives to take away from this tournament and the girls enjoyed the experience.  Mention must go to Flora D, Anna P and Julia K who were superb all afternoon and played brilliantly together.
