Girls' Hockey U13 1st VII v Barnardiston Hall

Final Score : Lost 7-1

A sound beating by a strong team. Holmwood battled valiantly and as usual kept going to the final whistle. Hollie DR gave us a glimmer of hope with her goal and Charlotte H saved some fine shots in the second half. Holmwood passed really well and had several scoring opportunities but failed to find the target.A good experience and yet another example of what a fantastic group of young ladies these are - no one gave up, not a cross word was said and the team spirit outshone the score!

Girls' Hockey U13 2nd VII v Barnardiston Hall

On Wednesday 16th November the U13 2nd VII’s had an away match at Barnardiston. We got off to a great start in the first half, and Jasmine W scored the first goal for Holmwood. Barnardiston scored two more goals and in the second half Honor D scored our second goal.

Sadly, as Mrs Newland was ill, we had to cheer each other on.

The final score was 2-3 to Barnardiston.

Well done everyone you played really well!
