Girls' Hockey U13 1st VII vs South Lee

Won 5-1

What a great way to end a season of so many ups and downs. Without Captain, Misha B, Kaela S took over the role and despite making a slow start the goals soon came in droves. Maisy H and Hollie DR both scored in the first half but far too many shots were being made straight at the very tall and very able keeper. When the girls finally worked out how to slip the ball around the keeper we had goals from Freya J, Alara H and another from Hollie DR.
This game showed the incredible improvement the girls have made throughout the term as we played the same team 14 weeks ago and lost 1-0. I have enjoyed every minute of winning and losing with these girls and can't wait to continue the progress next September.

Girls' Hockey U13 2nd VII vs South Lee

Wow ! What an amazing performance by every single member of the the team. They left their best performance last ! Every skill and set play we had practiced was implemented in the match. All the girls looked confident when in possession of the ball and made deliberate, accurate passes. We won 5-2, and every goal scored was as a result of at least three or four players. It was a great team performance and the girls should be very proud of their achievements.

It has been a complete privilege to coach this group and I look forward to the netball season with them ! Well done !!
