Netball U13 1st VII vs Framlingham College Prep

It was a very close game, with both teams being evenly matched. During the first quarter, our court play was a little scrappy and Fram took advantage of this and scored four goals in as many minutes. We marked well but , in attack, we lost possession with some poor passing.

Unfortunately during the second quarter, Phoebe injured herself and retired. Jasmine stepped in as GK.

During this quarter our marking was so tight and the defence made it incredibly hard for Fram to shoot. Our attacking play improved and even though we hadn't made up the goal deficit, the score in that quarter was 1-1. Tammy made some great interceptions mid court and her tight marking in the shooting circle kept us in the game.

During the third quarter, for about a couple of minutes, we lost our focus and momentum and allowed Fram to score three or four goals consecutively. However our play during the final quarter improved ten fold. Our passing was short and slick, Kaela made some great interceptions in mid court and Jasmine's marking made it incredibly hard for the GS to receive the ball.

The final score was a win to Fram 12-7. However the score definitely does not reflect the level of play.

Well done !

Quarter 1 Fram 7 HH 2
Quarter 2. Fram 8 HH 3
Quarter 3. Fram 12 HH 5
Quarter 4 Fram 15 HH 7

Netball U13 2nd VII vs Framlingham College Prep

The U13 2nd netball team played well against a strong Framlingham college team.

In the end our shooters Lucy B and Honor D started to catch up scoring more goals than the opposition in the last quarter!
The girls had great sportsmanship as they went down in the end 8-11.
