Boys' Hockey U13 1st VII vs Woodbridge

A very close and exciting game. Losing 2-1 at half time thanks to a goal from Zeke L, the boys tried hard to keep up the pace but Woodbridge soon extended the lead in the second half. Another goal from Zeke L and one from Matthew C boosted morale but weren't enough to catch the two goal deficit. A good overall performance.  Final Score Lost 5-3.

Boys' Hockey U13 2nd VII vs Woodbridge

An excellent game with end to end play. Holmwood's goals were scored by Cedd R and Hamish I - both on loan for the day from the 1sts but overall the strong defending from Robert W and strong team effort gave the boys a creditable draw.  Final Score 2-2

Boys' Hockey U13 3rd VII vs Woodbridge

Holmwood 0 Woodbridge 2
A fast moving end to end and exciting match on a bitterly cold day at Woodbridge. Ollie j was excellent in goal and the score could have easily been larger but the HH defense including captain Charley G and Tom C managed to hold them off time and time again. Tom L, Gus P and Takura all tried very hard and managed a few good moves for lance La R to try and muscle home with A few decent attempts on goal.

A good effort!

Holmwood 1 Woodbridge 1
A fast moving end to end and exciting match on a bitterly cold day at Woodbridge. Ollie R was excellent in goal and the score could have easily been heavier but the HH defense including Jack G, Dominic T and Elliot W managed to hold them off time and time again.

Ethan W, George S, Takura and Max D all tried exceptionally hard and managed a few good moves for Max G to try and break through the oppositions defenses. Matthew J made the best break of the game and scored the only HH goal with help from captain Max G.

An exciting game and a great effort by all - well done!
