Netball U11 C vs Finborough / St Joseph's
This was an excellent display of teamwork from all the girls and their confidence on the court grew stronger as the match progressed. They passed the ball with ease, found lots of space and read the play well to make many interceptions.
With three goals scored in the first quarter some changes were required to try and even things up! This did not prove too successful, however, and we continued to play to the best of our ability resulting in a further goal, taking us into a half-time lead of 4 - 0.
The remaining two quarters were played in a similar vane. Whatever positions the girls were put in, they gave 100 per cent and made the game very difficult for the opposition. Despite taking our regular shooters out of position, we still scored a further goal in each quarter.
Huge thanks must go to the three girls - Ava M, Ava G and Davina M - who volunteered to play for the opposition so they could field a full team. This was a great example of sportsmanship from you all.
Well done to all the players. The very positive comments from those parents who came to watch were very pleasing to hear and everyone commented on your terrific improvement!
Final score 6 - 0
