U11 C Netball vs Lexden Primary School

This was a lovely way to finish off a term of netball fixtures. The girls played very well demonstrating many of the skills we have focused on during training.

Playing their regular positions in the first quarter, we were soon 4 goals up as a result of strong teamwork, accurate passing and good dodging. As a result, in the second quarter all positions changed and the girls had to adapt to playing less-favoured positions. But again they all worked together to move the ball accurately down the court remembering the order of passing we have been drilling in to them!

At half time the score stood at 6 - 0 and again the girls all had to change positions and the defence had to assume the role of shooters. We continued to play well but were unable to find the net to add to our scoreline.

The final quarter saw yet again another position for all the girls to adapt to, and with a further goal the final score was 7 - 0 to Holmwood.

Well done to all the girls for adapting so well to a new position each quarter and finishing off the term in style!
