Girls' Hockey - U9 A VIIs vs Framlingham College

The girls took part in a triangular tournament this week playing Framlingham College and Barnardistion. In their first match the girls were 2-0 down but came back in the last few minutes to draw 2-2.  In their second match the girls scored two fantastic goals but unfortunately were beaten by an experienced side and lost 4-2. A special mention should go to Poppy our goalie who made some superb saves throughout both games. After a big day and a long drive the team, led by our captain Ottille, played with great energy and enthusiasm until the final whistle. Well done girls, you all should be very proud of how you played this week!

Girls' Hockey - U9 B VIIs vs Framlingham College

Rameen captained the team and played centre forward this afternoon for our two matches, one vs Barnardiston, and the other vs Framlingham. Alicia took on the goal keeper’s role for the first time and made several great saves. Our two goals were scored by Olivia and Elsie. The whole team played with energy and commitment in our first match, but tired towards the end of the first half of
their second match. A match tea of pizza and chips in the warm hall went down a treat before the journey home. The girls were a delight as always.

Final score:
Holmwood House 2, Barnardiston 0
Holmwood House 0, Framlingham 3
