Rugby - U9 A VII vs St Margaret's

The pitches were in great condition and the team sends their thanks to Jamie for his hard work. From the outset Holmwood were the dominant side running in two well worked team tries. The determination was great in attack and the players really wanted to make that extra yard. It was clear there was alot of tired bodies on the pitch due to rehearsals and that culminated in a few players getting try line fever. Every player wanted to get their hands on the ball! Whilst this is a good thing, it is important to release the pass to the player in space!

Overall, the team is shaping up very nicely!

Rugby - U9 B/C VII's vs St Margaret's

U9B/C mixed won 11 tries to 6.
On a sunny afternoon the mixed B and C teams each played one half against st. Margarets.
The boys steadily improved and managed some good solo tries and one excellent team try. The score was 6-6 at half time, but the tackling improved , causing turnovers and allowed the boys to pull away towards a convincing win. Well done for a great effort.
