Geography & Science Trip

Walton-on-the-Naze

Staff in both the geography and science departments, as well as Mrs De Voy from the Latin department, were very excited to be taking all Year 6 pupils on a field trip to Walton-on-the-Naze on Monday 22 May. As you would expect, we were there to study the coastal environment. Judith Metcalf and her team from the Essex Wildlife Trust, which now has a new base at Walton-on-the-Naze, provided the educational guidance for the day. It was the first time that the school had used the services of the

Essex Wildlife Trust; I am sure that the children would join with the teachers in sending a big ‘thank you’ to all concerned for a highly enjoyable and rewarding day. We all learned a few new things about our ever-changing coastal environment.
