Maths Week in Pre-Prep
Pre-Prep has been buzzing with all the maths going on this week. There has been Pirate maths with co-ordinates for treasure maps and solving pirate problems. Earlier in the week the sound from the hall was a clue to a very lively ‘Beetle Drive’ for Year 2 and 3 pupils. The book ‘The Rabbit Problem’ by Emily Gravett was the starting point for lots of real life problems and the children in Year 3 enjoyed puzzling over the hungry rabbit problem and many more. Year 2 have explored shapes both 2D and 3D and produced some amazing art work. On Thursday morning the Reception children had an enjoyable time playing games that the Year 2 children had made for them. Overall, a busy week with the children learning in so many different ways.
