'Murder' at the Rio Olympics!
Although the Olympic Science week officially beings on Monday 25 April, the whole school had the opportunity to see the challenge set for our Year 6 students.
They now have the task of solving a murder of one of Team GBs female swimmers in the practice pool at the Olympics.
The 45 students will become forensic scientists for the week; visiting the three crime scenes and carrying out a wide range of experiments in order to elicit who was responsible.
The school assembly this morning set the scene with members of staff playing the parts of the investigating police officers, suspects and the victim. We hope that this time next week we will be able to report that our Year 6 Scene of Crime Officers have solved the crime.
