Roald Dahl Day

On Tuesday 13 September, we celebrated Roald Dahl Day.  4 classes came for their library session and were treated to a chapter from 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' .  I asked them when they next have a bite of chocolate not to bite into it but to nibble the corner and let it melt on their tongue, just like Charlie Bucket, the hero in the story.

In the afternoon, Years 4 and 6 were invited to a Roald Dahl presentation, a timeline from 1910 until the present day. I think they all learned something new about this wonderful author.
