Mandarin and Mooncakes!
Nĭhăo! Year 4 have been very busy in their Mandarin lessons this half term! Following on from Maths week, the children have been using the number characters to do their very own “Mandarin Maths”.
Year 4 have also been learning about the Mid-Autumn Festival and the legend of The Moon-Fairy “Cháng’é” and the Jade Rabbit. Traditionally, mooncakes are made and eaten as part of the celebrations and Year 4 really enjoyed making and tasting these delicious treats!
