Year 7 Geography Field Trip
Last week, the Year 7 pupils ventured away from the classroom for the day. Their destination was the River Brett in Suffolk and their task was to discover how this major tributary to the River Stour changes as it flows downstream.
They also learnt a great deal about the causes of flooding and how the council in Suffolk have responded to the flooding threat. The pupils gathered a wealth of information which they will use to complete their 'Individual Investigation into the River Brett'.
This important piece of work constitutes 20% of their Geography Learning Log. They acquitted themselves admirably to the rigours of the day and had a great time splashing about in the river.
