The Great Outdoors
The outdoor facilities are exceptional. Each nursery room benefits from having a separate area that is used as an outdoor classroom. The garden is well equipped with a paddock and large open spaces. Holmwood House Nursery is extremely lucky to be situated on the edge of a private woodland. This enables us to use the wood with the children and gives them the opportunity to discover wildlife and nature through hands-on experience.
Admissions
45 children aged between 6 months and five years are able to attend the nursery which opens for 47 weeks of the year. However, children are able to attend for Holmwood House term-times only if that is required. Flexible attendance is offered to suit individual needs.
The Nursery has an open admissions policy; all children are welcome to attend. We feed into Holmwood House Prep School and also into other primary schools in the local and surrounding areas.
