  • Monday 15 January 2018 Year 8 Geography As part of their learning of river features and processes, all pupils in Year 8 spent lesson time towards the end of last term, building plasticine models.

  • Friday 15 December 2017 Outdoor Learning This term has seen lots of excitement with Forest School and Outdoor Learning returning with even more sessions than before. The children have been enjoying their time outdoors, playing and exploring in the beautiful school grounds.

  • Friday 15 December 2017 Choir Some of Mr Stapleton's singing pupils performed in the Suffolk Villages Festival last Sunday evening in St Mary's Church, Dedham.
  • Friday 15 December 2017 Senior Christmas Party On Wednesday evening it was eyes down for a full house of Years 6, 7, 8 enjoying their annual Bingo and Karaoke evening. Much shouting of 'house', much eating of tuck and party food and much loud singing was enjoyed by all!
  • Friday 15 December 2017 Year 3 News Year 3 visited the Reception children this week. They had made class counting books to share with them.
  • Wednesday 13 December 2017 Pre-Prep Community Event 2017 On Tuesday the Pre-Prep hosted a brand new event. Invitations were sent out to the local community and the wider school community inviting them to attend a morning of Christmas entertainment and festive refreshments. All the children contributed decorations they had made in class and the Talbot Room was transformed into a party venue.
  • Wednesday 13 December 2017 Years 4 & 5 Reading Challenge Last week Year 4 and 5 pupils took part in this year?s Reading Challenges. They were asked to select a short passage from a book of their choice to read aloud in their English lesson. The class winners then went through to the finals, which took place in the library on Friday.

  • Monday 27 November 2017 STEM - Earthquake Technologies Challenge This week, Year 6 students have taken part in our first Prep School STEM challenge. In geography they have been studying earthquakes and their effects on buildings in different parts of the world, and in science they have been designing, modelling and testing earthquake safe buildings using K?nex kits.
  • Monday 13 November 2017 Boarding News - Week 8 Autumn Term The girls in boarding love to decorate their rooms with pictures and posters. It gives the rooms such a homely feel and the girls enjoy the feeling that this is 'their' space for the nights that they board.
