Science Department Photographic Competition
The Science Department are delighted to announce the winners of this year’s photographic competition. The judges were particularly impressed with the variety of images submitted, capturing many impressive natural encounters. It was lovely to see flowers, insects, reptiles, birds, mammals and scenery all featuring strongly as subjects. Of the many entries, four really stood out as beautifully crafted photographs, worthy of any wildlife publication. It was difficult to decide on an outright winner, but the judges were unanimous in their verdict:
1st Place Prep School: Flower and Insects by Daniel Hughes (Year 5)

Runner-up Prep School: Gecko by Gus Courtauld (Year 6)

1st Place Pre-Prep: Cactus by Joseph Reed (Year 3)

Runner-up Pre-Prep: Seagull by Douglas Cock (Year 2)

Well done to all participants. Keep snapping and feel free to forward any interesting images to us here in the Science Department. Watch out for more photography displays on the department notice boards and in the school magazine.
