To promote awareness of the place of ICT in the communication network of the 21st century, ensuring that the importance of ICT knowledge and skills is fully understood. 

Educational Aims and Philosophy of the Department    

Through a staged and structured Programme of Study, all students should acquire the knowledge and skills needed to use ICT as a tool for learning and living.

This will include correct and efficient use of the computer and an understanding and ability to use a complete range of software programs and peripherals.

The Department aims to develop and facilitate cross-curricular application of ICT skills to ensure students apply their IT capability to support their use of language and communication and their learning in other areas.
