WHAT WE HAVE BEEN LEARNING IN PSHE ...

In PSHE we have been learning to respect others and care for other people.

Emily Phillips, Year 6

We have been learning to respect and to get to know our 'Buddy'.

Charlotte Levett, Year 6

BULLIES AND BUDDIES ...

Everyone in the school has a Buddy.  We have to get to know them, respect them and make friends with them.

Rosie Green

This year, as we are in Year 5, we have each got a younger buddy and we need to look after them.  If they get upset, we help them and make sure they are always happy.

Daisy Dougall

We have been learning about bullying.  Bullying is when someone hurts someone either physically or mentally on purpose lots of times.  We must not ignore bullying.

Samuel Jebakumar

At Holmwood, we think bullies need help.  We never ignore them - always tell someone.

James Howarth

This year in PSHE I have learnt that bullying is wrong.  If someone is being bullied, you should stick up for them and tell someone about it.

Rebecca Burrell

This year we have got a younger buddy.  Buddies are there for each other.  We have got to look after buddies and make sure they are happy.

Talbot Dog 1

Talbot Dog 2

The Talbot Dog is an extinct hunting dog which was snow white with black spots and had a keen sense of smell.  It was very strong and could take down a white stag.  It is credited for being an ancestor of the modern Beagle and Bloodhound.
