  • Tuesday 19 March 2019 From the Headmaster.... It was good to see that the rain and wind did not deter prospective parents from visiting the school for Open Morning earlier today. We had a very good number of visitors who were expertly guided around the facilities by our tour guides from Years 5, 6, and 8 . My thanks to them for being super ambassadors for the school. Their insight and enthusiasm was great.

  • Tuesday 19 March 2019 Year 3 Year 3 have been investigating 3d shapes. They used polydron and straws with Plasticine to create their shapes and then investigated, made predictions about and recorded what nets they created.

  • Monday 11 March 2019 From the Headmaster.... As I don my wellies and make my way out to the field to enjoy the Year 3s' flagship sporting fixture of the year, the Tag Rugby and Netball Festival, I am reminded of the busy and varied nature of our children's lives. This afternoon, most of the rest of the school will enjoy a preview performance of the Years 4 and 5 neolithic extravaganza, Rock Bottom, ahead of the main performance this evening to which I hope you are coming. Mrs Mayhew, Mr Cortes and their team have worked tirelessly this week to bring this show to the stage and we wish them all very well tonight. Break a leg!

  • Monday 11 March 2019 Pre-Prep Golden Awards Golden Awards are made weekly to individuals in each class based on the Golden Rules. Under these criteria, the awards are made for the whole term, the child receiving an annotated leaf which is placed on the Golden Tree for all to see.

  • Monday 4 March 2019 Pupil Achievements Congratulations to all children who received Prep Badges and Pre-Prep Golden Awards, plus find out who are the Time Table Challenge Round 1 winners, as well as who won the Star Cup!
  • Monday 4 March 2019 Classics Trip to Rome 15 excited students and 3 staff headed off to the Eternal City over half term. The weather, pasta and ice cream were excellent. We had a packed but interesting itinerary, from cycling along the Appian Way, through climbing to the top of St Peter's Basilica, to the Colosseum and Gladiator training. The pupils were a delight. Their interest and enthusiasm hardly waned despite the long days and many ruins.

  • Monday 25 February 2019 Boarding News - Marvel Superheroes On Friday the Years 6, 7 & 8 had their Superheroes theme night. They had a fantastic themed supper followed by superhero challenges in the Jubilee Hall and Talbot Room.

  • Saturday 9 February 2019 From the Headmaster... Our Year 4 children had a great time at the Young Voices event at the O2 Arena on Monday. They sang with great gusto, I am told, and reports from parents point to it having been an excellent experience for all! Well done Year 4s and thank you to Mr Cortes for organising it and leading the trip along with Mr Snell, Mrs Mitchell and Miss Godman.
